Hi-Tech Metal Recycling India Pvt. Ltd. stringently follows and adheres to all the guidelines and norms in the general operation of its business. Not all components in a computer or telecom equipment can be recycled. These components, mainly some plastics and resins containing flame retardants or Fiber Glass from antennas need to be either burned or buried in an environmentally sound manner. However, burial of waste is prohibited.

Hi-Tech Metal Recycling (I) Pvt. Ltd is tied-up with Kalyan Karnataka Ewaste Management Project (KKEMP) for environmentally safe incineration of such electronic components which are non recyclable. This is ensured by their incinerators (combustion units) that are designed to limit the formation and emission of furans and dioxins and are equipped with state-of-the-art flue gas cleaning systems.

The resultant ash from the combustion of these materials that cannot be vaporised “are disposed off in environmentally sound and appropriately authorised landfills”.
